Development of a planned truckstop at I-55 and Reed Road may be moving slowly. But, Braidwood’s city administrator said the process should see some traction this fall.
“We just had a conference with the attorneys and the architects,” administrator Tony Altiery said. “We are just working on finalizing [some minor details] before they come to the city for the rezoning and the annexation. Five acres is already here but the other ten they bought needs to be annexed in. We’re working on the agreement between the city and them.”
