Today we continue our look at Henri LeCaron, doctor, politician and British spy. We take up in 1873 when the good doctor decided a move to Braidwood would be in his best interest.
Henri LeCaron was a master at fitting in. We know that while he lived in Wilmington (1869 - 1873) he attended mass at St. Rose, even though he was not Catholic himself, and had his children baptized in that religion. Whether this was to keep up his front as a Catholic from France, or to get better acquainted with the Irish we do not know.
