MORRIS—Sharon Louise Gilbertson, 80, a lifelong resident of Morris, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Morris Hospital.
Born in Morris on May 5, 1939, Sharon was the daughter of Joseph Andrew and Mary Adele (Sarti) Gusta. She attended Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1957. On June 19, 1960, Sharon married Roger Gilbertson in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and together they made their home and raised their family in Morris.

Michael William Farrell, 69, passed away on March 14, 2020, at Loyola – Maywood (IL) Medical Center, just ten weeks after being diagnosed with cancer, eventually determined to be an aggressive form of non – Hodgkin lymphoma.

DWIGHT—Sheila Rae Duckmanton, 72, of Dwight, formerly of Coal City and Seneca, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her home in Dwight.
Shelia was born on March 27, 1947 in Eldorado, IL to Clydus and Helen (Barnes) Cox. She married George L. Duckmanton on Dec. 13, 1981 in Elizabethtown, IL. Sadly he passed away on Dec. 22, 2009.

BRAIDWOOD— Gloria Ellen Moore (nee Bergman), 92, of Braidwood, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Heritage Health in Dwight.
Born on December 23, 1927 in Upsala, MN to the late Axel and Ellen Bergman. She was the valedictorian of the 1945 class of Reed Custer High School, attended Joliet Junior College and graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, MO with a bachelor's degree in management.

Louis W. Wakeman

LENZBURG— Louis Walter Wakeman, 87, of Lenzburg, IL, formerly of Coal City,  born September 1, 1932 in Coal City, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.
Mr. Wakeman was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He had worked for 25 years as a coal miner with Peabody Coal and had worked for ten years at Ramme Buick in Coal City.
