Braidwood Lions Club to sell Christmas Trees

The Braidwood Lions Club will once again be holding their annual Christmas Trees Sale fundraiser beginning Sunday, November 22nd. The club’s stand will be located in the Whitmore Ace Hardware parking lot in Braidwood.

Balsam trees ranging in height from 6 to 9 feet along with small and large size decorated wreaths, grave blankets, small & large size grave pillows, and artificial gravesite flower vases will be for sale.

Lions club house brooms, heavy duty brooms and whisk brooms will also be available for purchase.

Hours are Monday - Friday, noon - 7 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while supplies last.

Sales will be closed on Thursday, November 26, for Thanksgiving and will resume on Friday, Nov. 27. All proceeds from the tree sales will go back into the community in the form of the various community activities and humanitarian services that the Braidwood Lions Club provides throughout the year.
