Braidwood Police arrest 4 in drug investigation

During the morning hours of 8/2/2018 Braidwood Police along with DEA arrested 4 suspects for various controlled substance deliveries. Braidwood Police and DEA were assisted by Wilmington Police, Coal City Police, Dwight Police, and Grundy County Sheriff’s Office while executing the arrest warrants.  The arrest warrants and charges allege the defendants sold illegal narcotics. The investigation was initiated 7 months ago and Chief Ficarello from Braidwood Police stated he expects more arrests in the following weeks. The investigation targeted individuals selling drugs in and around Braidwood.

The following individuals were arrested on warrants;

William M. Hombaker, male age 52 address of 34000 Block of Lakeside in Wilmington. Arrest Warrant Charge for Unlawful Delivery of Controlled Substance Morphine.  Bond was set at $75,000.00 10 % to apply.

Kristin M. Farley, female age 28 address 400 block of North Mitchell Street Braidwood. Arrest Warrant Issued for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance Alprazolam. Bond set at $50,000.00 10 % to apply.

Melissa M Nelson, female age 22 address of 300 block of French Street Braidwood. Arrest Warrant issued for Unlawful Delivery Controlled Substance, Alprazolam. Bond set at $15,000.00 10 % to apply.

Kaleb L Findlay, male age 19 residing at 100 Block of North Lincoln Coal City. Arrest Warrant issued for Unlawful Delivery Controlled Substance MDMA (“Molly”). Bond set at $40,000.00 10 % to apply.

The Braidwood Police Department reminds the public that charges are not evidence of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
