Charles W. Keymon

TENNESSEE โ€“ Charles W. Keymon, 82, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Braidwood, passed away March 12, 2020 from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma .
Born March 20th, 1937 in Savannah, TN, Charles was one of five children born to Wallace and Sarah Keymon. He was raised and attended school in Clifton, TN. He was an Air Force Veteran and served 6 years. He had worked 36 years for General Motors in Willow Springs, IL and Marion, IN. Following his retirement, Charles and his wife Barbara relocated to Knoxville, TN, where they made their home and were active with their local Moose Lodge and numerous bowling leagues.
Anyone who knew Charles knew he was a kind, gentle, hard working person known for his love of fishing and golf. Charles also was a member of the local Moose lodge and was a Moose member for over 50 years. He will be missed by all.
Charles is survived by his brother, Falor Keymon; and sister, Sue Keymon; children: David (April) Keymon, Michael Self, and Richard Self; grandchildren: Donald (Rachel) Keymon, Karli Keymon, Holly McDaniel, and Patrick Allen; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of over 50 years Barbara (Lardi) Keymon; son, Scott Keymon; and daughter, Vicky (Edwards) Keymon; brothers: Robert Keymon and Eldon Keymon; and mother in-law, Helen Doran.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no service. Charles will be laid to rest with his late wife Barbara at a later date.
