Claudette Muetlein

THREE LAKES, WI— Claudette Muetlein, 86, a resident of Three Lakes, WI and formerly of Beaver Dam, WI, passed away on Tuesday Oct. 5, 2021 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander, WI.
She was born in Morris, IL on April 29, 1935 to Claude and Pauline Farmer.
Claudette graduated from Coal City High School. She worked for the Rialto Theater for 5 years, the Northwestern Corporation in Morris, for 2 years, US Army Ammunition and Supply Agency for 8 years, and D. Koerner, Inc. Construction as an office clerk for 6 years. Claudette married Eric Muetlein in 1974 and moved to Three Lakes, WI.  They owned and operated the Sunset Bay Resort from 1975-1983. She also worked at Del’s Grocery Store and the Traveler’s Inn Motel in Eagle River, WI. After retirement they moved to Florida and then to Beaver Dam, WI to be with family. Following her husband’s passing she returned to Three Lakes. Claudette enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needlepoint in her free time.
She is survived by her sons: Danny (Debbie) Burger of Seneca, IL and Paul (Michelle) Muetlein of Three Lakes, WI; sister: Mary Farrell of Coal City; grandchildren: Kenny Burger, Sarah Cameron, Lisa Burger and Ava Muetlein; great granddaughter: Autumn Cameron; nieces: Helen (Charlie) Kurth and Melissa (Jeff) Stafford; nephew: Joseph (Cathy) Lanzhammer; as well as other relatives and friends.
Claudette was preceded in death by her husbands: Lyle Burger and Eric Muetlein; her parents; son: Terry Burger; grandson: Aaron Burger; brother: Claude Farmer; sister: Loretta Farmer; nephew: Charles Farmer.
A graveside service at the Three Lakes Cemetery will be held at a later date.
