Donald J. Pitt

WILMINGTON—Donald J. Pitt, “Clampett,” 66, of Wilmington and formerly of Tooele, UT, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 at home.
Born April 4, 1952 in Tooele, Donald John was the son of Neal and Georgina (Yates) Pitt. He was raised and educated in Tooele and graduated from Granger High School with the class of 1970. Donald was a member of the local steel workers union until retirement and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles, travel and spending time outdoors. Donald’s favorite times were always with his soulmate, Shauna Michelle Dougherty, who he married on his 45th birthday.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Shauna; children: Rudy, Nikko, Tony and Trenton; step-children: Stephanie, Stephen, Teresa and Brian; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley-Ann, Laura-Lee and Shawna; numerous cousins and many close friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Leo.
Per Donald’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
