FBI, Grundy Sheriff seek info about bank robber

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday, July 25 shortly after 3:45 p.m. at the First Midwest Bank, 128 Depot St. in Gardner.

The male white offender wore a motorcycle helmet covering his entire face, a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black/grey gym shoes, black/grey gloves, and a black/white bandanna around his neck. He carried a pink/black backpack.  He was driving a dark colored sport style motorcycle.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of this unknown suspect, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
