George Fisher

WILMINGTON—George Mylon Fisher, 76, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 at Heritage Health Care in Dwight.
Born Feb. 23, 1942 in Berwyn, IL, he was a son of Mylon and Clara (nee Veasman) Fisher. On Dec. 29, 1961 he married Judith Hobart at St. Barbara's Church in Brookfield, IL. George was a welder/quality inspector for U.S. Hose for over 50 years until his time of passing.  He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City and loved working on cars, camping with his family, but most of all was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.  
George is survived by his wife, Judith Fisher; children: Jennifer (Daniel) Krueger, of Pontiac; Scott (Carol) Fisher, of Darien, IL and Beth (Angelo) Simonelli, of Braidwood; grandchildren: AJ, Kristen, Steven, Marie, Nick, Brent, Caitlin and Sarah; sister, Ruth Flowers, of Lowell, IN and brother, Mylon (Carolyn) Fisher, of Lisle, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Edward Flowers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Oct.  27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City with Father Robert Noesen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Braidwood. Visitation will be at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, Oct. 26 from 4-7 p.m.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
