Help for Hope seeks donations, has new hours

Every person needs help at some time in their life and when that time comes, Help for Hope is there to offer emergency and long-term assistance.
The non-profit organization was established simply to help those in need, be its basic necessities or access to long-term services.
In order to carry out its mission, Help for Hope is calling on the community to help fill the shelves with toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, laundry soap, all purpose cleaner, men’s and women’s deodorant, bleach, and dishwashing soap.
Donations of the above items can be made at the Help for Hope, 100 S. Biama St., Coal City, during regular hours of operation.
Starting April 3, Help for Hope will be open  9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Wednesday evenings from 4-6 p.m. The facility will be closed on Mondays and Fridays.
