Coal City Police are investigating the Aug. 16 burglary of Magic Nails, 1013 E. Division St. and are seeking information that leads to the arrest of the offender described as a male subject wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants.
The offender was caught on surveillance cameras outside the businesses at 12:01 a.m.
The camera recorded the man using what appeared to be a window punch to break the glass panes on the left side of the entry door, then after waiting 30 seconds for a possible alarm to be sounded, he cleaned the glass around the broken window and entered the building.
