Playoff tickets must be purchased in advance
THE MORE FANS the better this Saturday when Wilmington travels to Sterling, IL for a 3 p.m. playoff game against Newman Central Catholic.

Wildcat fans planning to attend Saturday's second round football game against Sterling (Newman Central Catholic) need to purchase their tickets in advance.
The Illinois High School Association is mandating that host sites no longer accept cash but instead require everyone to use their cell phones to order tickets through the GoFan app.
All tickets must be purchased through the GoFan app on a mobile device using a debit or credit card. The app will display an electronic ticket which can then be shown at the admission gate.
Tickets can be purchased now up to the time of the game. Anyone who intends to pay with cash will be told to step aside, download the app, pay by credit card, before being admitted.
A reminder the game will be play on the Sterling High School field (not Sterling Newman) 1608 4th Ave., in Sterling, IL. Gates open at 1:30, kickoff 3 p.m.
The GoFan app will be required for all remaining playoff games,including if Wilmington hosts in round three,

2. Purchase your tickets at the gate using a credit card and your own device or a Newman provided device. Once you purchase your tickets, your tickets will be emailed to you.
On Game Day
When you approach the gate on game day, have the tickets in your email pulled up on your phone. A gate worker will tap on each of your tickets and click redeem.
2. Enter the game.
DO NOT take a screenshot of your ticket and present the screenshot. They will be unable to redeem tickets from a screenshot.
