Slammers to host game at Cullick Field

Joliet Slammers, the city of Joliet’s professional baseball club, will be heading to Coal City for an exhibition game against the Windy City Thunderbolts.
The two teams, members of the independent Frontier League, will play an afternoon game at Coal City High School’s Cullick Field on Sunday, May 5. The first pitch set for 2 p.m. Admission is free.
The Joliet Slammers enter the season as the 2018 Frontier League Champions. The team’s home opener is a 7:05 p.m. game against the Thunderbolts on Thursday, May 9 at Route 66 Stadium.
