Terry Klomp

ARIZONA—Terry Klomp, 68, of Casa Grande, AZ passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his home.
Born Dec. 28, 1950 in Chicago, Terry was a son of Jacob and Lorraine (Schmidt) Klomp. He was raised and educated in Rosland, IL and worked independently in construction as a tradesman. Terry was a neat, detailed person that shined through in both his professional and personal life. He was an avid racing fan, especially NASCAR. Terry enjoyed motorcycles, and found great joy in taking his bike out for a long ride.
Survivors include three children: Todd (Crystal) Klomp Sr., Kristen (Thomas, Sr.) Gasik and Clifford (Amy) Klomp; eight grandchildren: Brittany Klomp, Karlie (Justin) Van Autreve, Kate Klomp, Todd Klomp Jr., T.J. Gasik, Isabelle Klomp, Violet Klomp and Cohen Klomp; four siblings: Wayne (Joyce) Klomp, Linda (Stan) Sokolowski, Cheryl Adams and Jeff (Sharon) Klomp and one sister-in-law, Henrietta Klomp.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Trevor Gasik; one brother, Ronald Klomp and one brother-in-law, Ed Adams.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and the family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd., in Wilmington from 11:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Terry's memory to the funeral home for memorial expenses.
