Veronica Andrews

WILMINGTON—Veronica M. Andrews, “Roni,” 66, of Wilmington, and formerly of Lockport, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at Regency Care of Morris.
Born Nov. 12, 1950 in Chicago, Veronica was a daughter of James M. and Martha A. (Bobko) Andrews. She was raised in Chicago and graduated from Gage Park High School with the class of 1968. Roni retired as an estimator for the family business, Andrews Converting in Countryside.
Roni took pleasure in online shopping and working on the computer, as well as sewing and cooking. She will be remembered as a woman with a tremendous sense of humor who loved to have fun.
Survivors include her daughter, Eva Marie Trimble, of Braceville; two granddaughters, Harley Jean Trimble and Jamie Lee Trimble; two brothers and three sisters: Thomas (Pat) Andrews, of New Lenox; Nicki (Ray) Doogan, Kathy Heimerdinger and Mike (Cheri) Andrews, all of Braidwood and Denise Overly, of Ft. Myers, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roni was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marlene Pennington.
Per Roni’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial and celebration of Roni’s life is being planned for a later date.
