William J. (Butch) Friddle

WILMINGTON— WILLIAM J. (Butch) Friddle, 70, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was born Aug. 30. 1946 in Manitowoc, WI and spent most of his life in Wilmington. Butch was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked in the transportation industry for 50 years.
Butch was an avid Bears, White Sox and Nascar fan and loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Deborah; one daughter: Jennifer Parsons (Fred Scheidenberger) ; one son: John (Amy) Friddle; nine grandchildren: Joshua, Mikayla, Morgan and Keegan Parsons; Alex, Addison, Abbigail, LJ and Jackson Friddle; and two great grandchildren: Gavin Parsons and Hailee Gustafik.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents William J. Sr. and Lucille Friddle; and one infant son: Paul Robert Friddle.
Per his wishes there will be no service or burial. He donated his body for research.
Preferred donations may be made in Butch’s name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice.
