Like all other municipalities, the city of Braidwood has managed to collect dozens of items over the years that are no longer useful.
Looking to find a new home for those items, the city will host its own garage sale of sorts – only via a closed bid process.
“There are some surplus items around city hall, one happens to be an old divider door for the kitchen, and there are also numerous items at the police department,” city attorney Bryan Kopman said on Sept. 12.
