WILMINGTON—Janet M. Sirovy, 86, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024 at The ARC of Dwight.
Born May 2, 1938 in Joliet, Janet Marie was a daughter of Francis “Frank” and Ruth (Noble) Cercello. She was raised in Joliet and went on to graduate from Joliet Township High School. On May 7, 1960, Janet married George E. Sirovy in Joliet and together they made a home and raised their son.

COAL CITY—Tim Hanley, 77, and a lifelong resident of Coal City, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
Born June 1, 1947 in Joliet, Timothy John was a son of Joseph H. and Ruth N. (Wilson) Hanley. He was raised in Coal City, where he received his education and graduated from Coal City High School with the class of 1965. On June 7, 1969, Tim united in marriage with Jodi Gervase in New Hope Presbyterian Church in Coal City, and together they built a loving home and raised a wonderful family.

MAZON—Ronald D. Wills, 77, of Mazon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, at his home on his farm.
He was born on April 15, 1947 in Joliet to Roy and Catherine (nee Vitale) Wills. He graduated from Coal City High School class of 1965 and still had breakfast one day a month with his classmates. He was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Ron served his country honorably in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He married Jane L. Hintze on May 6, 1972 at the Coal City United Methodist Church.
