MEQUON, WI—Kevin R. Togliatti, 52, of Mequon, WI, formerly of Coal City, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Kevin will be greatly missed as a tower of strength to family and friends, an inspiring tennis instructor at the Lockport Park District and so much more.
He is survived by his son, Alec; wife, Alexis MacDowall; mother, Margaret Togliatti; father, David (Donna) Togliatti; brother, Chris as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anton and Gladys Togliatti.

Charles "Bud" Butler

COAL CITY— Charles “Bud” Butler, 91, of Coal City, and formerly of Detroit, MI and Fairfield, IL died with loving family members at his side on Friday Feb. 4, 2022 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehab in Morris.
Born March 27, 1930 in Fairfield, Charles was a son of Charles, Sr. and Virginia (nee Grivich) Butler. He was raised and educated in Fairfield and in Michigan, and on Oct. 31, 1952, Bud married Betty Lou Harrison in Fairfield.

Milton Spaulding

FLORIDA— Milton Ross Spaulding “Milt”, 84, of Moore Haven, FL, and formerly of Wilmington, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022 after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s.
Born July 19, 1937 in Illinois, Milton was a son of Arthur and Leona (Scurrah) Spaulding. He worked at Uniroyal and retired from Northern Petrochemical in Morris. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and was an avid sportsman, who loved to fish and golf. Milt enjoyed karaoke, playing the guitar, going to the beach and hosting parties.

Joan Thompson

WILMINGTON— Joan Thompson, 87, of Wilmington, succumbed to her fierce battle with lung cancer on June 15, 2022 with her loving daughters by her side.
Born March 1, 1935 in Chicago, Wanita Joan was the daughter of Alan and Wanita (Englert) Herdrich. Joan was raised and educated in Chicago and married Robert Thompson on July 12, 1958.

Clarence Dawson

DWIGHT—Clarence Renalvin Dawson, 89, of Dwight, and formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Heritage Health in Dwight.
Born April 26, 1933 in Cunningham, TN, he was the son of Hade and Hattie Dawson. Clarence married Dorothy J. Forsythe, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 2011. He worked as machinist in Joliet for Caterpillar for 25 years. Clarence enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping in his free time.

LARGO, FL—Deborah Lynn Horton Jackson, 62, of Largo, FL and formerly of Wilmington, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, FL.
Born Jan. 3, 1960 in Joliet, Deborah Lynn is a daughter of Robert and Beverly A. (Jackson) Horton. Debi graduated from Wilmington High School with the class of 1978.
Funeral services are being planned for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd. in Wilmington and burial will be in Wesley Cemetery.
