PLAINFIELD—Dr. Paul B. Smith, 85, a 55 year resident of Plainfield, passed away peacefully, Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 28, 1936 in Junction, IL to his loving parents, Paul Smith and Louise Smith-Brugger. Paul graduated from Ridgway High School, Gallatin County, IL and University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He enlisted in the US Army and became a Captain, stationed at New Cumberland Gap, PA.

CUSTER PARK—Tina Lee Conway, 57, of Custer Park, formerly of Country Club Hills, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her home.
Born Oct. 25, 1963 in Hammond, IN, Tina was a daughter of Robert and Elisabeth (Reiter) Flossman. She was raised and educated in Country Club Hills, and graduated from Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields. On Aug. 6, 1988, Tina married Joseph J. Conway Jr. at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Mokena, and together they would make their home in Custer Park.

MAZON—Mark W. Esgar, 69, of Mazon, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2021 at his home in Mazon.
Born July 26, 1951 in Morris, Mark Whitman was the son of Paul and Ina (Male) Esgar. He was raised and educated in Goodfarm Township and Mazon, and graduated from MVK High School. On Feb. 19, 1972 Mark married Kathleen Glenn in Mazon. He worked as a truck driver for A&R Logistics, and later C&R Transfer Inc. from where he retired.

KENOSHA, WI—Lisa M. Lippens, 40, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2021, at Frodert South Hospital in Prairie WI.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1980, in Joliet, the daughter of Robert L. Lippens (Pipefitter Local 597) and Lori C. Lippens Cole. Lisa grew up in Custer Park. At age 10 she moved to Crystal Lake, IL where she graduated in 1997 from Prairie Ridge High School where she excelled in softball and was known as Rocket. She then settled in Twin Lakes, WI to be near her family.
