Betty Ann Carr

WILMINGTON—Betty Ann Carr, 88, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at her home.
Born Jan. 8, 1933 in Ritchie, Betty was a daughter of Earl and Berniece (Richmond) Warriner. She was raised in Ritchie and attended the Wilmington schools. On May 28, 1955 Betty married Edward L. Carr in Ritchie. She was a member of Ritchey United Methodist Church; was a good cook, enjoyed painting pictures, and loved flowers, especially roses. Betty will be most remembered as a dedicated wife and mother who loved spending time with her family.

WILMINGTON—Linda Anne McClellan (Jones), 75, of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Jan. 22, 2021 at her home with family by her side.
Born Feb. 20, 1945 in Wilmington, she was the daughter of Harris and Mary (Pritchett) Jones. She graduated from Wilmington High School with the class of 1963 and went on to work for the Joliet Arsenal and then for J&J Corp. in Wilmington from where she retired in 1999. In her spare time Linda earned a BA with honors from Lewis University. She loved reading, gardening, good music and going to her mother’s every Sunday for dinner.

WILMINGTON—Franklin W. Lyons, 84, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at the home of his son in Braidwood.
Born May 25, 1936 in Virginia, IL, Franklin William was a son of Sherman William and Freida (Davis) Lyons. He was raised and educated in Virginia; graduated from Virginia High School, and went on to honorably serve in the United States Marines.

COAL CITY— Albert V. Debelak, 90, of Coal City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at Morris Hospital.
Born March 22, 1930 in Waukegan, IL, Albert Vincent was a son of Stephen and Mary (Sluga) Debelak. He was raised in Waukegan; graduated from Waukegan High School with the Class of 1949, and went on to honorably serve in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

COAL CITY—Virginia “Ginny” Banham, 97, of Coal City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at Regency Care of Morris.
Born May 7, 1923 in Delavan, IL, Virginia Noreen was a daughter of Neil and Helen (Baker) Neblock. She was raised and educated in McLean County, and most recently resided in Coal City before transitioning to Regency Care in Morris.

SOUTH WILMINGTON—Joseph M. Corneglio, 72, of South Wilmington, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, Jan. 29, 2021.
He was born on Oct. 5, 1948 in Joliet to Joseph J. and Milly (Andrewscavage) Corneglio. He was a long time resident of South Wilmington. Joseph enjoyed his spare time hunting and trap shooting. He belonged to many clubs including the Illinois Rifle Association of which he was a longtime member. Joseph had been known by his nickname “Tokyo. “ He was a laborer for 50 years with Local #75. He was very special and once meeting him you would remember him.
