MISSOURI—Janice Kay Moore, 77, of Osage Beach, MO, formally of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Jan. 6, 1943 the daughter of Elmer and Agnes Harris in Naylor, MO. Janice loved boating and spending time at the lake with her family. She also loved to crochet and quilt. She took great pride in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. She followed her dreams and moved to Lake of the Ozarks to enjoy the breathtaking views from her beloved patio.

BRAIDWOOD—Eugene Altiery Sr., “Geno,” 77, of Braidwood, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020 at Morris Hospital.
Born Aug. 20, 1943 in Joliet, Eugene Bernard was a son of Daniel and Frances (nee Lesh) Altiery. He was raised and educated in Joliet, and graduated from Joliet Township High School. On Dec. 29, 1962, Geno married Sandra Sue Amiot at the Cathedral of Saint Raymond Nonnatus in Joliet. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1962 until his release from service in 1964.

WILMINGTON—Nathan Earl Seratt, 50, of Wilmington, passed away Aug. 22, 2020 at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee. Born Jan. 18, 1970 in Evergreen Park, he was the son of Nathan Earl Seratt and Dorothy McMullen. Nathan was a welder. He loved the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. His favorite things were watching his grandkids play sports. He never missed a game and was always cheering them on. They are going to miss their #1 fan.

SYMERTON—Hub Barnes, 78, of Symerton, IL passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020.
Born Dec. 7, 1941 in Findlay, IL, Aubrey Wayne was a son of A. Wayne and Mildred Leota (Marshall) Barnes. He was raised in Findlay before the family moved to Moweaqua, IL, where he graduated from Moweaqua High School with the class of 1959. Following high school, Hub went to work for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Decatur and later relocated to the Joliet Plant from where he retired in 2005 after 43 years of service.

WILMINGTON—R. Ray Schumacher, 89, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 at his home.
Born July 16, 1931 in Lovington, IL, Rollie Ray was a son of Rollie and Bernice (French) Schumacher. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and honorably served during the Korean Conflict. Ray loved being with his grandchildren and working in the yard. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
