DIAMOND—Michael E. Parcell, 75, of Diamond, and formerly of Lincoln Lake, Morris, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022 at Heritage Health of Dwight.
Born Dec. 20, 1946 in Mishawaka, IN, Michael Edward was a son of Richard Dean and Edna Bunch (Lavine) Parcell. He was raised and educated in Mishawaka; graduated from Penn High School and went on to attend Purdue University. Mike honorably served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era from Feb. 3, 1970 until April 1, 1977.

WILMINGTON—George R. Tiedeman, 92, of Wilmington and formerly of Orland Park, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno, IL.
Born Aug. 10, 1930 in Downers Grove, George Raymond was a son of Henry Sr. and Stella Rose (Joswick) Tiedeman. He was raised in Brookfield, IL and graduated from Brookfield Riverside High School. George went on to honorably serve in the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict, where he earned many medals and accolades including a Silver Star and three Purple Hearts.

BRAIDWOOD—Jillian R. Collins, 40, of Braidwood, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 at her home.
Born on Nov. 7, 1982 in Joliet, she was the daughter of Thomas and Marjorie (nee Morris) Collins. She loved watching her daughter, Kaily, in sports and listening to music. Jillian also enjoyed gardening and painting. More than anything she loved spending time with her loved ones.

ST. JOSEPH, MI— Sharon Lee Whittington was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Grundy County, South Wilmington, to Lionel “Snagger” and Mary Williamson. Sharon passed away peacefully Aug. 1, 2023 in Berrien County, St. Joseph, MI, with family surrounding her. She was a secretary for the US Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratory, adjacent to Hanscom Air Field in Bedford, MA, and then at Child and Family Services in St Joseph, MI, until retiring.

BEECHER, IL—Cynthia Kay Willis, 74, of Beecher, IL, passed away July 31, 2023 at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.
She was born April 13, 1949 in Salem, IL, the daughter of Herman and Lena Graham. She was a resident of Beecher for 23 years. She was a harness horse owner and former owner of the Water n Hole in Wilmington. She was also a member of the IHHA Illinois Harness Horseman’s Association and USTA United States Trotting Association.

PLAINFIELD—Joyce M. Maciejewski, 73, of Plainfield, formerly of the Brighten Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Plainfield.
Born March 12, 1950 in Chicago, Joyce Marie was a daughter of Edward and LaVerne (Cloutier) Verdone. She was raised and educated in Chicago and graduated from Kelly High School with the class of 1967. Joyce was employed as a bookkeeper by V. Seng Teaming Co. in Elk Grove, IL for over 25 years until she retired, and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Plainfield.
