Jean Huffines

PALM DESERT, CA— Jean Huffines (Bever) 85, of Palm Desert, CA passed away July, 29, 2021. Jean was born and raised in Wilmington to Harriet and Clarence Bever before moving to California. Jean had many life long friends she loved and was in touch with throughout life until the end. Known for her big heart and commitment to family, Jean was a loving loyal wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. A woman with the biggest heart, honest as the day is long, self sacrificing mother who devoted her life to her children. Jean was cared for by her son Greg until his passing. In her final years she lived in California with her daughter until she passed. Jean is missed by all and remembered for her love for family. Survivors include her daughter Janice and three grandchildren and sister Carol Smith. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Vester Huffines, son Greg, along with siblings Orval , Doris and June. No arrangements have been made due to Covid. She will be laid to rest in Wilmington on a later date.
