Lanny R. Menz

WILMINGTON—Lanny R. Menz, 70, of Wilmington, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023.
Born Nov. 11, 1952 in Advance, MO, Lanny Ray was a son of Edward Adam Menz and the late Charlene (McCool) Menz.
Survivors include his father, Edward, of Wilmington; two nephews, Duane (Lisa) Menz and Joe Menz; great-nephews, Danny (Emma) Menz and Justin (Caitlynn) Menz; great-great-niece, Charlie Jo and great-great-nephews, Rowan and Oliver; several aunts and uncles, as well as cousins.
Lanny was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene; brother, Danny Menz; one sister in infancy and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd. in Wilmington on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Pastor Sam and Faith Carr from Harvest Worship Center in Wilmington will officiate.
Lanny will be laid to rest in Wesley Cemetery with his mother.
